Medicine: when a prescription needs to be writtem by a patient, many doctors will use a computer for make it more easily to understand 

When you dial 999 an ask for an ambulance one will be sent to you as quickly as possible, it can only happen because the ambulance has a system that helps with the GPS and other things 

Nurses and doctors can practice new skills either using computer based training system or real life models
